The
Junior Section is for the 8 to 11 year old age group of boys. We meet at 7pm
on our Friday meeting night for 1 and a half hours.
We have a varied program of games, achievements, crafts and more. The aim is to be able to complete the award scheme before being promoted to the Company Section. The Juniors program is structured to enable individuals to achieve and progress at many skills and most of all have FUN.
What can I expect to do as a Junior Section Member?

- Target Badge: An introduction to the Section
- Bronze Badge
- Silver Badge
- Gold Badge
These badges are made up of activities in 5 sections
- Body
- Mind
- Spirit
- Community
- Creativity
The Friday evening programme is planned to make sure that all these area's are covered and this is supplemented by the Battalion Competitions and Junior Weekend to complete the award scheme.
Junior Weekend
We hold a weekend holiday for the Juniors consisting of 1 or 2 nights in a church or village hall somewhere in Hampshire or West Sussex. We always have visits, sports and much more while away on Junior Weekend and parents - the boys will know how to wash up after they return!!! Find out about previous holidays on our camp page
Battalion Events
We participate where possible in the Battalion events and competitions held through the year. These include Football, Quizzes and other events. See the news pages to see how we have faired in recent events.
